What is "bushcraft"?
Bushcraft is a collection of skills, and a knowledge base, that allows practitioners to become artisans that participate in nature, rather than simply passing through it.
Each month a Black Hawk County Conservation Board naturalist leads a hands-on program and discussion on a variety of topics including:
The events are generally on Sundays and run from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM and cost an average of $5.00 per participant. The Bushcraft Survival Series is geared towards adults but children are welcome to attend.
